In Loving Memory of Bailey (Bails)
Our Sweet Girl — Forever in Our Hearts 🖤

Bailey came into our lives in May 2023, and from the very beginning, she filled our home with love, laughter, and so much joy. With her shiny black coat, goofy smile, and heart of gold, she had a way of making every day brighter. She loved meeting new friends at the park and daycare, running with pure excitement and greeting everyone with her wagging tail. It didn’t matter who you were if you met Bail , you couldn’t help but love her.

Our first Christmas Eve together was suppose to be magical, but that night, everything changed. Bailey had her first seizure. What followed was a long, difficult journey that tested every part of us. From December to July, we fought for her endless vet visits, sleepless nights, medications, and constant worry. We did everything possible: MRIs, spinal taps, rushing to emergency vets out of town, and adjusting our lives completely to keep her safe. Through it all, Bailey fought so hard.

But as the months went by, our fast, energetic girl started to slow down. Medication was not helping her & the siezures kept coming & gotten worse each time she faced one. The dog who once outran everyone at the park grew tired, weaker, and no longer felt like herself. Watching that change broke our hearts. On July 8 just one month away from her second birthday, after months of fighting beside her, we had to make the hardest decision that we feared to make since Christmas eve to let our girl rest peacefully, free from pain and fear.

Bailey deserved more time, more snowy & sunny days, more park adventures, more love-filled moments, and her first flight to Cape Breton to meet all our family. There was so much more we wanted to do with her. But in her short time with us, she gave everything she had. Her love was endless, her spirit strong, and her memory will forever stay with us. She loved me (Anna) and her dad (Chad) more than anything, and we loved her even more.

She would have adored her new fur sister, Stella, and we know she’s watching over her from above. Bailey’s presence filled our lives with warmth and love, and the bond we shared will never fade.

We love you so much, sweet girl. You’ll always be our Bails — our cutesy little ladybug, our sunshine, our heart.
Run free, baby girl. You were so loved. 🐾💕🐞

Grieving a pet is a strange kind of pain. There’s no funeral, no formal goodbye, no closure. Just an empty bed and a thousand memories you weren’t ready to stop making. People who’ve never loved an animal like family will never get it—and that’s fine. But for the rest of us? We know that losing a pet feels like losing a part of our soul that had fur and four legs and looked at us like we were their whole world.

In loving memory of Stanley - “Stan the man”

From the moment I first held Stan - just a few days old and tiny enough to fit in my hands, I knew our bond was special. He knew our scent and love from day one.

Stanley was pure joy wrapped in bright red fur. He was goofy, fearless and full of life - the kind of dog that would yell like yeti when mom and dad came home, just because his excitement couldn’t be contained. He had zero fears, not even of the vacuum, and his adventurous spirit took him all the way to the top of a mountain in Banff at just six months old.

He was kind, loyal, and had the biggest heart - a true best-friend who couldn’t talk, but could still fill the room with laughter.

At just two and a half years old, Stanley’s health began to decline. What followed was a long and painful six month journey filled with endless vet visits, sleepless nights and countless tears. Despite every effort, his autoimmune disease took over his body and his spirit. We were forced to make the hardest decision any pet parent can face - helping our sweet boy say goodbye at just three years old.

Stanley deserved more time, more adventures, and more days filled with sunshine and treats. But even though life was short, it was so full of love - silliness, and memories that will never die.

He is forever missed by his mom, dad, and his furry big sister Shelby, who lost her best friend and partner in crime.

Stan the man - we will keep climbing mountains for you. 🏔️
