Last week, we joined the Fort McMurray Salvation Army Social Missions for their Heading Home BBQ.

Today was a successful day for our Tools for School initiative. We started at Staples Fort McMurray, where we picked up all of the school supplies that had been packed and shipped on pallets. Our partners at Kal Tire met us on-site and helped load and deliver everything. 🚚

From there, we delivered pallets to both the Fort McMurray Public School Division and the Fort McMurray Catholic Schools District. In total, four full pallets of supplies were dropped off, supporting over 13,700 students across our region. Almost 14,000 kids will start the school year with the supplies they need to learn. ❤️✏️📚

We’re grateful that we can continue delivering this program and supporting thousands of students across our region.

If you didn’t get a chance to donate, Staples is still accepting cash and supply donations throughout September.

A huge thank you to our partner agency, Golden Years Society , for their generous school supply and cash donations to our Tools for School program! 📚✏️

Over the past several weeks, their members have been collecting donations to help support students and families across our region. We are incredibly grateful for their kindness, generosity, and commitment to education.

Yesterday we visited Canadian Natural's Albian site and it was a fantastic opportunity to connect, learn, and strengthen partnerships.

Thank you to our partner agencies for joining us and to Rael Brown and the entire Canadian Natural team. We appreciate the opportunity to experience the site firsthand, and for CNRL employees to learn more about the important work being done in our region.

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of taking some of our incredible partner agencies on a road trip to visit Canadian Natural's Horizon site!

It was a fantastic day filled with meaningful conversations, and a shared commitment to making our region a better place. Opportunities like this allow our agencies to see firsthand the work happening at Horizon, while giving Canadian Natural a chance to connect with our partners and see the impact their contributions are making across our region.

A sincere thank you to our partner agencies for taking time out of their busy schedules to join us. And a special thank you to Janice Young and the team at Canadian Natural Resources Limited for organizing such a wonderful experience and welcoming us to the site.

We're already looking forward to next week's visit to Albian! 🚍✨

As Imperial Oil Kearl Lake Site approaches 1 billion barrels of production by the end of the summer, we want to extend our heartfelt congratulations on this remarkable achievement. We're proud to celebrate alongside an organization that continues to make a meaningful impact in our region.

We were also grateful for the opportunity to be part of the festivities by running a dunk tank fundraiser, with support from Mader Group Canada, who generously supplied the dunk tank. Thanks to the enthusiasm of Kearl Lake employees, leadership, and vendors, we raised more than $4,000 in support of our community.

A sincere thank you to Imperial Oil for the invitation and for creating space for us to fundraise as part of this exciting celebration. It was a fun-filled day, and we're grateful to have shared it with so many amazing people.
