🐄 Cypress County is among the vendors at the upcoming Cypress Farm & Ranch Show June 11 and 12 in Medicine Hat, and we want you to be there too: We've got four tickets to give away to this boutique-style event focused on ag innovation and livestock products and services.

A reminder: if you've got tickets to the chuckwagon races also happening at the Medicine Hat Stampede, they get you into this show at the Cypress Centre for free.

The Cypress Farm & Ranch Show (cypressfarmandranchshow.ca) brings together producers, exhibitors, and the western community for two days focused on agriculture, innovation, and connection.

Event highlights include:
• Indoor and outdoor vendors featuring equipment, services, ag innovation, and livestock focused products/services
• Educational speaker series
• Live entertainment and beer gardens
• The Country Marketplace, open June 11-13
• A strong community atmosphere rooted in agriculture and rural life

Admission is available online in advance or $10 at the door for Thursday and Friday. Saturday entry is free for the Country Marketplace.

The Medicine Hat Health Foundation Gift Shop is looking to hire a Summer Student!

This is a casual, part-time position that involves administrative work. The successful applicant will start as soon as possible!

Job Description:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Medicine Hat Health Foundation Gift Shop
- Administrative duties
- Provide training to new volunteers
- Provide positive reinforcement to volunteers

Key Responsibilities:
- Stocking the Gift Shop
- Ordering confection and beverages when the Retail and Volunteer Coordinator is not available
- Opening and closing of the Gift Shop
- Manage and maintain till operations
- Financial tracking
- Manage and maintain the lottery terminal
- Must be available when the Retail and Volunteer Coordinator is away
- Keeping all inventory – including seasonal inventory – organized, labeled, and priced

Qualifications:
- Confident and comfortable with engaging with customers
- Able to manage inquiries and respond in a knowledgeable and timely manner
- Able to lift boxes and stock shelves
- Prior experience in retail and with a cash register considered an asset
