Exciting Things Are Ahead!

Friends of Pembina Learning Society is excited to see the Grand Trunk Playground Project continue moving forward, with Phase 1 construction expected to begin later this month.

We are incredibly grateful to be part of a project that will create new opportunities for students and families for years to come. It has been inspiring to see our community come together in support of creating a space where students can learn, play, connect, and grow.

As Grand Trunk prepares for its first year as a K–12 school community, we look forward to watching this exciting project take shape and become a lasting benefit for students and families.

What an incredible evening at the Pembina Ball!

On behalf of Friends of Pembina Learning Society, thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, donated, sponsored, purchased tickets, bid in our auctions, and supported this event.

A special thank you to the students and staff of Wildwood Elementary and Evansview Elementary for the beautiful artwork and decorations displayed throughout the Legion, our generous donors and sponsors, Logan Elzinga for serving as our auctioneer, Garin and Michelle from Pourfection Bartending Services, Yvonne and the team at Another Bite Catering, Brady and Glen from Hi-Way Productions, and all of our amazing volunteers who worked behind the scenes to bring this event together.

As we approach our AGM, we’re highlighting the role of Treasurer within FOPLS.
The Treasurer helps oversee the financial side of the organization by:
• Managing finances and deposits
• Providing financial reports and updates
• Helping ensure transparency and accountability within FOPLS

This role plays an important part in supporting our fundraising efforts and helping FOPLS continue creating opportunities for students. 💜
