Thank you for your interest in Sunny (Bulldog).

Since rescuing Sunny, we have received a very large number of messages and inquiries about her. Because of this, we previously announced that we would not be accepting applications at that time. Unfortunately, some people misunderstand the application process and assume that submitting an application automatically guarantees adoption.

Please understand that this is an Adoption Application process, meaning every application will be carefully reviewed. Our responsibility is to find the best and most suitable forever home for Sunny.

Starting tomorrow, we will begin accepting Sunny’s adoption applications. However, please note that Sunny will not be ready to go to her new home until June 2nd.

We are specifically looking for a home that meets the following requirements:

1. Previous bulldog experience is preferred
2. A moderate- to high-energy household
3. No cats in the home
4. A family or individual committed to helping Sunny burn her energy at least twice daily through walks, exercise, or trips to the dog park
5. We will not consider homes with more than two dogs

This is Nabi.
She is an approximately 2-year-old rescue cat.

Nabi is a very friendly and lovable girl who has been living with us as an outdoor cat for almost a year. She enjoys human attention and has a sweet, cuddly personality.

We hope Nabi finds her forever home where she can enjoy life as a happy indoor/outdoor companion and receive all the love she deserves.

She is spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped.

Successfully finished our Adoption Event with Kyle, Sophie, and Dora at Pet Valu.

Many people showed interest in meeting our shelter dogs, but unfortunately none of them found their forever home this time.

We will be hosting another Adoption Event with different shelter pets on June 13th from 12 PM to 4 PM.

Thank you to all the Pet Valu staff for your support and kindness during the event.

Over time, many people have asked us similar questions, so we wanted to explain a little about how we care for our rescue animals.

We believe rescue dogs deserve as much comfort and freedom as possible. Years ago, after boarding my own pets in kennels for several weeks, I realized how stressful long-term kennel life could be for them. Since then, we have tried to create a more open and home-like environment for our rescues.

Yes, we still use kennels when needed. New rescue dogs are separated at first for safety, and all dogs are kennel trained for nighttime or when we leave the house. Most dogs adjust to each other within about 48 hours, and many eventually sleep freely around the home.

Some people have commented that our house looks messy. Our rescue animals live inside our own home with us, not in a separate barn or building. Muddy paws, rain, snow, and constant activity are part of daily life when caring for multiple rescue animals indoors.

Our property is 10 acres with 2 fenced acres for the dogs. We supervise outdoor playtime closely with cameras and direct supervision.

In this video, you can see 9 dogs happily playing and relaxing together. Other than our own dog, Milkis, every one of them came from different rescue and backgrounds.

This kennel-free approach is simply our method. We respect every rescue and shelter, as each organization has its own way of helping animals.

We are only able to operate this way because we limit our shelter to a maximum of 10 rescue dogs at a time. Additional dogs are placed in approved foster homes within our society.
