🎗️ Join Us in Making a Difference 🎗️

Karter's Cancer Crusade Foundation is proud to announce our 4th Annual Memorial Ride, taking place on July 26, 2026, at Crawford Plains School.

Held in memory of Karter, this event raises awareness for Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG), supports childhood brain cancer research, and helps provide financial assistance to families pursuing treatment options and clinical trials.

We are currently seeking community-minded sponsors to partner with us in making this event a success.

Your sponsorship helps us continue our mission of bringing hope to families facing childhood brain cancer while funding critical research and support programs. There are a variety of sponsorship opportunities available, including business recognition through logo placement, social media features, website promotion, and event-day participation.

Even if sponsorship isn't possible, sharing our event with your network can help us reach more families, supporters, and advocates.

Sometimes som of the most important things are some of the hardest. I was asked to be apart of something very important and share Karters story and journey but this ment I have to dig into some of the most traumatic times. I remember singing you are my sunshine to Karter through all 41 rounds of radiation and some days I could feel the hesitation and it being hard to breathe as I saiand please don't take my sunshine away because I knew it was still coming. Radiation is the only thing we could do for Karter here in Canada and it was only to "buy us time" something no parent never mind child should have to go through. No matter how hard it is i will never let my baby boy Karter John Richard Bourgeault have faught so hard and passed away for nothing. Watching these and more reminded me how strong, how much he never gave up no matter how hard! Karter I will keep pushing for you no matter what I promise. We will keep fighting for a cure for DIPG
