Thank you to everyone that dropped by our Pride Pancake Breakfast in O-day'min Park on Saturday! The weather was fab and the company even better!

With your help we were able to raise $350 for the important work and programs of the Pride Centre of Edmonton!

A huge thank you to our sponsor Loblaws City Market for the support! We also want to thank YMCA of Northern Alberta for joining us with games and activities for the kids, and the City of Edmonton's 2SLGBTQIA+ Safe Spaces Action Plan for the free swag!

The Warehouse Block, by Autograph Group, is a proposed seven-storey residential development at the southeast corner of 106 Street and 102 Avenue.

The project will feature rental apartments, ground-floor retail, rooftop amenity spaces, and an architectural design inspired by the warehouse buildings that once occupied the area.

The development will complement the recently completed O-day'min Park across the street, as well as ongoing streetscape improvements and the future Valley Line West LRT.

This area is undergoing a rapid transformation, with additional residential projects from Westrich Pacific and Maclab Development Group replacing what had been a landscape dominated by surface parking lots for more than half a century. Construction on The Warehouse Block is expected to begin later this year.

🏛️ Ever wondered what happens inside Edmonton City Hall?

Join DECL for a guided community tour of one of downtown’s most important civic spaces — a building many of us walk past regularly, but rarely get to explore from the inside.

This experience is a chance to:
• Learn more about how our city works
• Hear stories about City Hall and downtown Edmonton
• Connect with fellow downtown residents
• Spend time together in one of the key institutions that shapes our neighbourhood

📅 May 23
⏰ 2:00 PM
📍 Edmonton City Hall
🎟️ Free to attend

Following the tour, we’ll also spend some informal time together for conversation and community connection.

This event is part of DECL’s growing series of neighbourhood experiences designed to help residents connect more deeply with downtown Edmonton and the institutions that shape city life.
