It absolutely warms my heart when people take a moment out of their day to interact with my posts! 🥰
However, I do ask that people do not mention my name, or tag myself or Alyssa (or any family members) in comments.
This page is very public and is seen by anyone and everyone.
I try to remain as anonymous as possible, and make this page all about Alyssa.

Alyssa was the best mom.
Her son was her whole world.

This boy is now 16 years old, and has been without his mom for almost 3 years.
Thankfully, she raised him to be respectful, studious, kind, and thoughtful.
You can still see these traits in him, even in his teenage years.

I'm so proud of my grandson for his strength and perseverance.
He is a very good-natured boy who has chosen not to let the loss of his mom define the rest of his life.

I have often said, "On August 26, 2023, my grandson was basically handed a free pass to be an absolute s**t. And he chose not to take it."

Happy Family Day everyone.

At this doorway, I've met with hundreds of strangers, who have come to pick up some random item of need.

Some come and go
Some stay for a few minutes.
Some take off their shoes and come inside for a little visit and conversation.
Some come to give, and not to receive.

At this doorway, there have been countless smiles, laughs, tears, and hugs.
Immeasurable warmth.
Stories shared with trust and authenticity.
People that genuinely want to learn more about Alyssa 🩷

SO many people who have also experienced loss of a child!!! 💔

Many of the strangers are no longer strangers.
Now, I can comfortably call them friends.

I always thought I was helping others.
But, perhaps, others were helping ME all along.

This doorway has been a place of heart and healing.
