Yesterday was World Cleanup Day, where millions of volunteers joined together across 190+ countries, working to keep our shared spaces clean! 🌍

It's a lovely reminder to do a little good close to home. Next time you're out for a stroll, consider bringing a bag to pick up a few stray pieces of litter along your favourite park or trail. 🚮

If you happen to find any empties, bring them to your local Depot — you can pocket the cash or donate the deposit to a local charity. Every little bit makes a big difference! ✨

Big congrats to Cosmos II Bottle Depot on their new two-window drive-thru! Drop off your empties without leaving your vehicle — just drive up and you're good to go.

To celebrate, they hosted a fantastic event with MP Burton Bailey, staff, board members, and sweet treats from the Red Deer Food Bank ice cream truck. 🍦

Edmonton & area! Last chance to take part in the NOW! Radio Bottle Drive for Alberta Dreams is TOMORROW! 🥳

THE NOW! FAMILY BOTTLE DRIVE FOR ALBERTA DREAMS IS TOMORROW: SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 12TH!

From 9am – 1pm, come down to the NOW! radio parking lot at 9894 42 Avenue NW to drop off your recyclables (or cash) with the NOW! hosts as we collect these final donations for Alberta Dreams.

Unable to make it down? Bring your bottles to any of the participating Alberta Depots in Edmonton & Surrounding Area (map online at 1023nowradio.com) and say, “These are for the NOW Family Bottle Drive”. They will happily collect your donation and contribute it to the NOW! Family Bottle Drive until 4pm on Saturday, September 12th.

Every dollar raised helps Alberta Dreams continue fulfilling once-in-a-lifetime Dreams, bringing smiles, strength, and hope that extend far beyond the experience itself. See you Saturday NOW! Family!

A massive tip of the hat to the Calgary Stampede, the tent organizers, and every single person who kicked up their heels this year. 🤠 Every day, after the dust settled and the music faded, Calgary Depots got to work lassoing every last bottle and can to keep the grounds clean and sustainable. And believe it or not, this haul isn't even close to the total amount diverted from landfill over the course of Stampede!

By recycling your beverage containers, we're keeping waste out of the arena and putting those refunds right back into making The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth even better.
