Dharma Dharma DHARMA (Durham Hindu Malayalees) is a non-profit organization registered in the Durham Region of Ontario, Canada.

Our organization is keen on preserving Hindu culture and traditions, educating the young people, and spreading our unique festivity. Not only do we engage in our local community activities, but DHARMA also involves ourself in social initiatives within the Kerala region.

*Villu Paatu (Bow Song)* also known as Villadichampaatu (വില്ലടിച്ചാം പാട്ട്) is an ancient and soulful form of musical storytelling native to the southern states of Tamil Nadu and Kerala, as well as North-East Sri Lanka.

This traditional art form, where storytelling is beautifully interwoven with simple, melodic tunes, making it a perfect blend of music, narrative, and culture.

The Dharma Artists will be bringing this unique and vibrant tradition to life during the Makara Sandhya celebration.
