In addition to the over 11,170 pounds of food donated during the Dunnville OneChurch Food Drive last Saturday, we’ve had more brought in this week by people who missed the drive.
Another 556 pounds of donations came in, and we are so grateful!

Hey Dunnville and Friends of Dunnville…

We are just 10 days away from kicking off the 50th Celebration of the Dunnville Mudcat Festival! While our volunteers, organizers, sponsors, and community partners are still working hard behind the scenes getting everything ready for you all, we wanted to give you an “at a glance” look at the four days ahead.

As always, there is so much more happening throughout the weekend, so be sure to visit DunnvilleMudcatFestival.com for full schedules, event details, registrations, and updates.

It’s also NOT too late to get involved! We are still welcoming volunteers, and sponsors (registration for bed races, softball are needed!!) to help make this milestone year unforgettable. (Please note: T-shirt and banner sponsorship deadlines are June 2nd.)

We are always amazed at the generosity of our community is. It shouldn’t be a surprise to see our town and its residents take care of each other in the way they do, as they rise each time to do so.
We want to take a moment to thank the organizers and volunteers of the Dunnville OneChurch Food Drive. The time they take to make sure this all comes together and the volunteers who signed up to give their time to put out the door hangers, then return the the next week to collect food. To our wonderful town of Dunnville who put food out, every bag you donated will make a difference!
This total will grow, as we add to it in the coming days.

Tomorrow morning the great folks with Dunnville OneChurch Food Drive will be around collecting donations for our food bank. It’s such a great day to see the community come together to make a difference.
Have your donations outside your door by 9:00- they like to start early!

This group of happy people had a Charity Ride for our benefit, as they had been the last few years. Altogether they raised $600 for our food bank, which we are so grateful for! We thank all the riders for participating to assist us.
They would like to thank Tom O’Marra and Choppers Custom Works for their hospitality, Tim Hortons Dunnville and Tim Hortons Jarvis for the coffee and TimBits, as well as Sobeys Dunnville and Smelser Meats for their contributions.
When we work together, we can accomplish so much!

What a wonderful resource!

We have been blessed with an abundance of donations. If you are in need of material resources like clothing, shoes, hats, or even personal care items, we offer a variety of clothing with a range of sizes for youth in our community. If you are interested in coming and visiting our Clothing Closet, send us a message or give us a call to arrange an appointment.
