🌱🚜 Delisle Crops for Community – Seeding 2026 is Complete! 🚜🌱

It’s been a busy couple of weeks, but this year’s crop is officially in the ground! We are incredibly grateful for the amazing support from our community and sponsors who continue to make this project possible.

A huge thank you to:

🌾 Town Of Delisle for once again allowing us to use the land.

🚜 Sparrow Ag — Travis Sparrow, Brandon Sparrow & Morley — for donating their time and equipment to apply the burn-off spray.

🌱 Nufarm for donating the Conquer II.

🌱 The Rack for donating the glyphosate.

🚜 Today, Fenland Agro (Jarrett Rolston & Dominic Allen) planted this year’s crop, with the SC4200LL seed generously donated by CANTERRA SEEDS.

🌾 Thank you as well to Nutrient and Richardson Pioneer for donating some of the fertilizer used today.

⛽️ And to Delisle Co-op for providing the fuel for this years equipment!

🌱 Seeding is just around the corner for Delisle Crops for Community!

As we prepare to get back in the field, we wanted to take a moment to look back at where it all began.

This newspaper clipping from 2013 tells the story of how a group of local volunteers came together with one goal: to grow crops that would give back to our community. And they did just that! They helped support projects and improvements that will benefit Delisle for generations to come.

None of it would have been possible without the incredible support of the farmers, sponsors, volunteers, and community members

We’re excited to get this year’s crop in the ground and continue growing for our community! 🌾💚

🌾EXCITING NEWS DELISLE! 🌾

CROPS FOR COMMUNITY IS BACK!

What started as a field project back in 2013 became a community legacy.

Over the 4 years Delisle Crops for Community was in operation they raised over $300,000 and helped support:

⚾ Ball diamond facilities
📚 Library upgrades
🏃 School athletic projects
🤠 Rodeo grounds
⚽ Soccer pitch
💦 Splash park development

But the greatest thing built wasn’t just facilities.

It was community pride.

We are now moving into the next chapter of DCFC, and we are excited to continue growing community, supporting local projects, and bringing people together.

We look forward to your support!
