** REMINDER ** Registration for the Long Point Bay Open will begin Monday May 11, 2026 at 8am. If you are looking to get in on this event and want a good blast off number be sure to get signed up that Monday. Pre registered teams will be numbered as received. Day of entries will be accepted, but numbered only after pre registered teams. All the event's rules, boundaries and info will be released in the next couple of days. Be sure to check that out.

** April 25, 2026 Update ** Well its 2 weeks out and things are all coming together. We received the champions plaques this week!! Thanks again to Country Sports in Tillsonburg for helping us out with these. The winners will go home with a nice keep sake and of course the envelope of cash!! Again, we ask you take a close look thru the rules, boundaries and morning of pictures to get yourself familiar with what our new format is. This is heartbreaking. Our sincerest condolences go out to Todd's family and friends at this time. Rest in peace Todd. 🎣💔

It is with the heaviest hearts that we share the sudden passing of our Vice President and dearest friend, Todd Spurgeon , one of the very first original members of KWC Bassmasters.

Todd was more than an incredible angler. He was one of the kindest, most genuine people you could ever meet. He was always looking out for others and always found the silver lining, no matter what. He truly cared about this club and every single one of its members.

He helped build this club into what it is today, and his presence on and off the water will be deeply missed. He was always willing to teach, help, and encourage anyone, whether it was with fishing, life, or simply being there when someone needed him.

Todd’s greatest love was his family. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Spurgeon , and his daughter, Jessica Spurgeon . Our hearts are broken for them, and we ask that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers during this unimaginable time.
