✨ Tombstone Saddle Workshop ✨

We had a meaningful and creative time at our tombstone saddle workshop. A special thank you to Doris Larochelle for teaching us how to create these beautiful floral arrangements in honour of our loved ones. 🌸

This workshop was funded by the New Horizons for Seniors Program and delivered in partnership with the Municipalité Rapides-Des-Joachims.

We are excited and incredibly grateful to announce that Les Maisons des Jeunes du Pontiac has received a grant of $2,935 from the Deep River and District Community Foundation to support improvements to our community food bank and clothing closet!

This funding will allow us to purchase new shelving units, clothing racks, cupboards, hangers, and a deep freezer to improve the organization, storage, and accessibility of these important community services. These upgrades will help us better support youth, families, and residents in Rapides-des-Joachims who rely on these resources.

We would like to sincerely thank the Deep River and District Community Foundation, as well as The Laura Alice Cooper Memorial Fund, the Mary-Jane and Bob Brown Memorial Fund, and The Ken and Margaret Cuthbert Family Fund, for their generosity and support of our community.

Your support helps us continue creating a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive space for everyone in our village.
