Hey, is that your tax receipt for 2025 donations to SNAP?
No, not yet. They are sent out in January of 2026.

SNAP is a registered charity, and thanks to donations (big and small) we have helped to spay or neuter 5,363 pets in the Creston Valley. We can only do this with your help. We send tax receipts for any donation over $10 - and you can etransfer your donation to [email protected]. Or you can mail your donation to SNAP, 3608 Beam Rd, Creston, BC V0B1G1.

Look for our donation cans at many of the businesses in the valley, and give your change to help reduce the number of unwanted kittens or pups.

Thanks again for your generosity.

SNAP wishes to remind you that giving a pet for Christmas is not always a good idea. Please consider the needs of the pet, and ensure that the person receiving the gift realizes it is a life long commitment to ownership. A pet should be considered a family member; not to be left behind when the family moves.
Before getting or giving a pet as a gift, please ensure the owner has committed to not just a cute puppy or kitten. There are costs and time obligations.
A very real consideration is the future costs of pet ownership. A simple spay is now costing over $400, and we ask you to consider the importance of ensuring pets are fixed. Costs of the surgery increase if the pet is already pregnant, or because of other concerns
We continue to do our best to help needy pets and their owners with the cost of spay or neuter, knowing that unwanted pups or kittens will suffer needlessly.
A huge thank you to the many community donors, and a reminder that you will receive your tax receipt in the new year.
Please consider donations to SNAP to help us if you can - our email is crestonsnap@gmail and we do accept direct deposits.

SNAP is a registered charity which fundraises to assist residents of the valley to spay or neuter cats or dogs only. We help by paying part of the cost for the surgery and the medications needed during the surgery for those who need our help🙂
Making a difference, it's a snap!
