Congratulations to our four newest Search and Rescue responders, Dayna, Hitesh, Rebecca, and Matthew, on successfully completing their Basic SAR course this past weekend. The training was delivered through a joint exercise hosted by Sundre Search and Rescue and Mountain View Search and Rescue. Welcome to the team, and thank you for your commitment to serving your communities!

It is with heavy hearts that we make this post.

Our deepest condolences go out to all of Parker’s family, friends, and everyone who knew and loved him.

Although we did not know Parker personally, this little boy touched all of our hearts. Like so many others, we hoped and prayed he would be brought home safe and sound.

We were honoured to be part of the incredible effort to search for Parker alongside so many dedicated search and rescue volunteers, police officers, firefighters, and everyone who gave their time and energy in the hope of bringing him home.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Parker’s loved ones during this unimaginably difficult time.

May Parker rest in peace. 💙

Apologies for the late post. Mountain View Search and Rescue would like to send out a huge thank you to our amazing local grocery stores. Save on foods in Didsbury, Paul’s Independent grocers in Carstairs, and KC foods in Cremona for their wonderful food donations. These grocery stores helped us out during our annual May long weekend event while we were out west in the Ghost public land use zone serving our community’s and getting in some training. You helped make a cold wet weekend much more enjoyable with your wonderful food donations. Thank you so much from our entire team!!
