Outreach, Frontline workers, and anyone else dealing with the weight of the toxic drug crisis in your day-to-day, this *FREE* offering is for you 💙🫶

K-POP (Kootenay Peer Outreach Project) invites you to a moment of pause at the end of each week to recieve some extra support, be held within your peers, and have a safe space to connect with yourself, and a clinical counselor (virtually) in a group setting.

Held downtown Cranbrook at #214 Specialty Lane Building - 18 13th St S (near Safeway) at 12pm on Fridays. 📍🗓🕐

Bring your lunch if you'd like. Enjoy a bit of movement and guided breath to center and then settle into a guided group support session.

Session structured around participants and can vary in topic, style, support structure, education, etc.

FRESH START Collaborative Society is looking for a passionate and experienced grant writer to join us on a short-term, contract basis.

This role supports meaningful community work by helping identify funding opportunities and turning ideas into strong, compelling grant applications.

We’re offering flexible hours and welcome someone who understands the realities of today’s social landscape and is motivated by community impact.

We’re hoping you bring:

Experience researching and writing grants (non-profit or community-focused experience is an asset)
Clear, engaging writing skills and attention to detail
An understanding of current social challenges and community-based solutions
The ability to work independently and manage timelines
What we offer:

Short-term contract with flexible scheduling
The opportunity to contribute to practical, on-the-ground community initiatives
A collaborative, supportive organization committed to positive change
