Are you looking for a fun activity for your family this weekend? If so we are putting on one final big event as we close out our 2021 Summer season!

Mixed Abilities Rugby Day will be held at Brentwood College School on Saturday August 28th @10:00am-2:00pm! This is an event for "everybody and every body", anyone and everyone is welcome to participate!!

Registration is on site and will include a BBQ for all participants!

As a special treat, the U21 Canadian Rugby team will be present and helping us out at the camp! As well as Canadian 7's player Josiah Morra!

We hope to see as many people out there for a day full of rugby and fun!!

This upcoming weeks schedule!!
Important things to note:

1. Not as many events are being run this week as we wind down for the summer; we have lots of work to do off the field so we can come back again next year!

2. Our final Try Rugby Event is happening at the Cowichan Sportsplex starting

And finally, our year end Mixed Abilities Rugby Event is being run at Brentwood College School on Saturday 28th from 10am-2pm! It'll be a fun day full of rugby for everybody and every body! We have special guests and prizes to give away!
We hope to see everyone there !!

Our final Try Rugby event is coming up this Tuesday, if you haven't made it out before, now's your chance! The event runs for 2 hours and will be filled with fun for your kid!

This event is perfect for beginners, and takes place between 10am and 12pm at Cowichan Sports Plex. All you need to do is show up and play!

Here's our schedule for the upcoming week!!

- Brentwood pop up and play is back on the usual Monday mornings at 10am; this week coached by Canada player Ciaran Breen!
- We're excited to announce that we have added Pop Ups to the Cobble Hill, Shawnigan Lake, and Langford regions!!

Are you looking to get your kid out and active next week? Well, we have our weekly Try Rugby event coming up on Tuesday! The event is open to all ages, free, and most importantly fun :)

This event is perfect for beginners, and takes place between 10am and 12pm at Cowichan Sports Plex. All you need to do is show up and play!

ABOUT US: Here at the Grassroots Rugby Foundation, we pride ourselves on being able to reach as many kids as possible with this great game. Our goal for the summer is to reach 5000 kids, and we are well on our way there with over 2000 kids reached in our first half of this summer! We run entirely on donations. Unfortunately our QMS Camps have come to an end for this summer, we've adjusted the schedule posted accordingly.

We have a silent auction coming up this Sunday! All proceeds go towards funding our wonderful organization! Details are included in the linked post:

We are hosting a Silent Auction August 1st to the 14th! We have many wonderful items available (including a signed Olympic Men's 7s Jersey and a trip to Hornby Island)! There are a total of 9 items available for auction, all generously donated by our staff and supporters! A big thank you to those people :)

All proceeds from this auction will go towards furthering our mission of spreading rugby to children across BC and growing the game! Help support a great cause and check it out!
