Exciting news & an opportunity for you to help create the future of Toastmasters in the Comox Valley!
Did you know there are currently two Toastmasters Clubs in the Comox Valley?
Next month, both clubs will be joining forces and merging into ONE NEW CLUB!
This means a new club name, new club norms, new executive... and you're invited to participate with your perspective and feedback through this merger.
Whether you're a seasoned member, a member from the past who may wish to return in the future, a guest, or have simply considered checking Toastmasters out and like the idea of stepping in as we create a new club, you're invited and encouraged to attend our next two meetings to be part of this significant change.
May 21st meeting:
Comox Valley Toastmasters and the 60 Minutes Toastmasters - 60 Minutes Toastmasters - Courtenay BC will meet together to begin merger discussions. We will talk about our vision for the future and make plans for voting in a new executive team at the following meeting
June 4th meeting:
A new club will emerge! We will vote in a new executive and vote on a new club name. Members are strongly encouraged to participate as we will need quorum to vote.
Both of the next meetings will take place at the Spinnaker Building at the Comox Marina from 7pm-8pm (location to change following the club merger).
