Akwesasne Child and Family Services - Community Support
This unit offers primary prevention programming to schools, organizations, groups and to the community. The presentations and workshops are designed to support the community towards a positive approach to wellness. Some primary prevention programming include:
ACFS Summer Program (6 weeks)
Parenting (Discipline, Budgeting, Couponing, etc.) Mo

ther Group (Coffee break for Moms)
Father Group (Coffee break for Dads)
Too good for Violence (AMBE Schools)
Too good for Drugs (AMBE Schools)
Mandated Reporting (Staff & Groups)
Babysitting Certification Course (Akwesasne Youth Age 11-18)

Youth Business Training
Canoe Journeys
