🏒 JOIN OUR TEAM OF VOLUNTEERS! 🏒

Are you a high school student looking to earn volunteer hours while making a difference in your community?

The Seaway Valley Spartans are not only looking for adults on the ice, but we're also looking for teen volunteers to join us on the ice and help support our incredible athletes! 💙

Our hockey program gives children with special needs a welcoming, judgement-free place to build skills, gain confidence, be active and — most importantly — have fun.

Our teen volunteers are a HUGE part of making that possible.

📅 FIRST ICE TIME: Sunday, October 18
⏰ 1:30 PM
📍 Benson Centre – Pad 1

No coaching experience is necessary. Whether you're an experienced hockey player or simply someone who enjoys helping others, we'd love to have you be part of our Spartans community.

We are thrilled to welcome ABA Therapy Services as a Silver Sponsor of the Seaway Valley Spartans!

Support from local businesses and organizations like ABA Therapy Services helps us continue creating inclusive sports opportunities where children and youth with special needs can play, learn, build friendships, gain confidence, and simply be part of a team!

Every sponsorship helps us provide a supportive, judgement-free environment where our athletes can participate at their own pace and celebrate what they can do.

A huge thank you to ABA Therapy Services for believing in our athletes, our families, and the importance of inclusive opportunities in our community. We are so grateful to have you on Team Spartans!

Different abilities. Same team.

🏒💙 REGISTRATION IS OPEN! 💙🏒

** Yes! We used AI for this post! We are parents of kids with special needs children, and life is busy lol We will use all the help we can get!!!**

It’s time to hit the ice, Spartans!

Registration is officially OPEN for the Seaway Valley Spartans Hockey Program for children and youth ages 6–18!

The Seaway Valley Spartans provides an inclusive, welcoming and supportive environment for children with autism and other disabilities who may have difficulty participating in traditional community or league sports.

Our goal is simple: give every child the opportunity to get on the ice, be part of a team, make friends, build confidence and discover a love for hockey — at their own pace and in their own way.

⭐ No hockey experience? That’s okay!
⭐ Can’t skate yet? That’s okay too!
⭐ No formal diagnosis yet? Reach out to us.
⭐ Most importantly — every Spartan deserves the chance to belong. 💙

📅 FIRST ICE: OCTOBER 18
📍 Benson Centre – Cornwall, Ontario

URGENT:

💙 Our Players Need You. 💙

🏒 The Seaway Valley Spartans are looking for Hockey Coaches! 🏒

Our athletes are excited to hit the ice this season, and we're looking for a few amazing volunteers to help make it happen!

You don't need years of coaching experience—just a positive attitude, patience, and a passion for helping children with special needs build confidence, friendships, and a love for the game.

Whether you've coached before, played hockey, or simply want to give back to your community, we'd love to hear from you. We'll provide support and work together to make it a rewarding experience.

Coaching with the Spartans is about so much more than hockey. It's about creating smiles, celebrating achievements, and giving every child the opportunity to be part of a team where they belong.

💙 If you're interested in learning more, please send us a Facebook message or email us at [email protected].

Please like, comment, and share this post to help us reach someone who could make a difference in the life of a child.

Together, we can keep creating opportunities for every athlete to play. 💙🏒
