📢 We’re excited to invite you to participate in our 2026 Youth Engagement Fair! 🎉

📅 Date: Wednesday, March 4
⏰ Time: 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
📍 Location: Benson Centre, Cornwall

🔹 This high-energy, interactive event is designed to connect youth (ages 11–17) with local organizations, services, and opportunities that support their well-being, interests, and future goals.

✨ What to expect:
🍕 Complimentary refreshments for attendees
🎨 Hands-on activities and interactive booths
🎟️ A fun passport challenge that encourages youth to visit exhibitor booths and learn about available programs – with prizes to be won! 🏆

🤝 Opportunities for youth to meet service providers in a relaxed, youth-friendly environment
👥 While our target audience is youth aged 11–17, attendance is open to all. Please note that prizes will be reserved for youth between the ages of 11 and 17.

💡 Thanks to the Building Safer Communities Fund 🏛️, awarded to the The City of Cornwall by Public Safety Canada 🇨🇦 and administered by the Social Development Council SDGCA 🤲, participation is completely free for attendees!

Exciting update for our community! 🎉

Today, we received the delivery of the new games tables for the Cornwall Youth Space! These will be installed in the spring, just in time for everyone to enjoy when the nicer weather arrives.

We can’t wait to see this space come to life with fun, connection, and activity for our youth. Stay tuned for more updates as we get closer to installation! 🌱

🚧✨ We Broke Ground! ✨🚧

Big news, Cornwall! Today we officially broke ground on the brand-new outdoor gym at the Cornwall Youth Space, and we couldn’t be more excited! 💪🔥

This project is all about creating a place where young people can move, connect, and thrive… and it’s happening thanks to the incredible support of our amazing sponsor, the Rotary Club of Cornwall 🙌💙

We’re excited to share that the basketball court at Alexander Park is now complete and ready for play, day or night!

✅ Court lights now installed (automatically shut off at 11 p.m.)
✅ New bike rack to help you ride & park with ease 🚲
✅ Water bottle filling station to help you stay hydrated 💧

🌟 Big things are rolling in at the Cornwall Youth Space! 🌟

Our outdoor gym equipment has officially been delivered 🙌💪 and installation will be happening this fall! That means by next spring, you’ll be able to enjoy a brand-new workout zone right in Alexander Park.

But that’s not all 🎉 — we’ve also ordered games tables 🏓♟️ and bike repair stations 🚲🔧 to make the space even more fun, active, and useful for everyone.

We can’t wait to see you out here making the most of it next year. Stay tuned for updates as we get closer to installation!

The Cornwall Youth Space at Alexander Park on Eighth Street belongs to all of us — youth, families, and neighbours. 💚

We can all play a part in keeping it beautiful:

✨ Use the bins and recycling.

Every bit of effort makes a difference. Together, we can keep Alexander Park welcoming, clean, and a place we’re all proud of. 🙌

🚲✨ New Addition to Alexander Park! ✨🚲

We’re excited to share that the bike rack is now installed at the Cornwall Youth Space in Alexander Park! 🙌 This is another step forward in making the park a safe, welcoming, and accessible space for everyone in our community.

But we’re not stopping there — we’re already working on bringing in a bike repair station 🛠️ so youth and residents will have the tools they need to keep their bikes in great shape right here in the park.

The Cornwall Youth Space is all about creating a place that reflects the needs and ideas of our youth while building a stronger, more connected community. Thank you to everyone who continues to support and believe in this project , together, we’re making it happen! 💙
