It’s not too late for any group (sports, school, music/arts, etc.) to raise money for your organization. Just collect pledges for the Coquitlam Optimist Club. We provide management, signage, a marked walk route around Mundy Park, and food for returning walkers. Your group gets 75% of the funds you raise plus a chance to win matching funds up to $1000. The other 25%, after expenses, supports Optimist Club community service projects such youth sports groups, food banks, breakfast programs for schools, and others. Registered groups from outside Coquitlam have the option to walk in their own city. The 2025 walk day is Sunday, November 16 with registration starting at 12:00 noon.
