The Cochrane Food Bank Society is seeking passionate, community-minded individuals to join our Board of Directors.
As a registered charity, the Cochrane Food Bank is committed to supporting individuals and families experiencing food insecurity by providing access to nutritious food with dignity, compassion, and respect. Through the dedication of our staff, volunteers, donors, and community partners, we continue to serve those who need us most.
We are currently recruiting new board members who can bring professional expertise, strategic insight, and a commitment to community service. We are particularly interested in individuals with experience in:
β’ Community engagement and advocacy
β’ Legal and governance
β’ Financial management, accounting, or banking
β’ Executive leadership and organizational management
β’ Human resources or operational leadership

As a board member, you will:

β Work alongside dedicated volunteers and community leaders
β Strengthen compassion, resilience, and community connection in Cochrane
Board members are expected to attend monthly meetings, participate in committee work as appropriate, provide strategic oversight, and act as ambassadors for the organization within the community. Directors serve a minimum two-year term, with opportunities for renewal.
