The Cochrane Food Bank is pleased to announce that we will be returning to our facility effective June 22, 2026.

Following our temporary relocation due to recent air quality concerns, we are excited to once again serve clients from our original location. While some services and operations will remain modified during this transition period, our team is working diligently to restore full operations as soon as possible.

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to our clients, volunteers, donors, community partners, and supporters for their patience, understanding, and encouragement throughout this challenging time. Your support has enabled us to continue providing essential food assistance to those in need.

We look forward to welcoming clients back to our facility and continuing to serve the Cochrane community.

We would like to clarify some recent comments we have seen on social media.

The Cochrane Food Bank provides food support to individuals and families in need throughout our community. We provide food hampers by appointment, support local schools through our lunch and weekend bag programs, and offer other community support programs.

The β€œFood Sheds” in town is operated by another wonderful organization, Helping Hands, and are not affiliated with the Cochrane Food Bank.

While our main facility has been temporarily closed, we continue to serve clients from a temporary location and look forward to reopening soon.

If you or someone you know is in need of food support, please contact FCSS/FRN at 403-851-2250 to book an appointment.
