A three year journey to improve Hillcrest Park culminated today with the announcement from NOHFC. Thank you isn’t enough to our many volunteers, to the teachers who had cream pies in their faces, the brave souls who sat in the dunk tank, the face painters, and more! Every core committee member (and their spouses😀) brought a unique strength to Park Pals that made the group a resilient one. There was a goal and we reached it! We were successful for many reasons, primarily due to the community within. Not once, ever, were any of our requests turned down.
The municipality and its employees were fabulous in this journey with us and we are so proud to say that PARK PALS achieved this goal WITHOUT ADDED BURDEN TO THE TAX BASE.
Special mention to one of our own committee members Devon Prevost who so well articulated our application to NOHFC.
We cannot wait for “shovels in the ground” this summer. We promise an on-site celebration once done!

THE ROLLER SLIDE IS COMING TO HILLCREST PARK!! This unique slide is comprised of cylindrical rollers arranged parallel to one another to create an engaging sensory experience. Look what’s coming to Hillcrest Park! Spin the wheel to find out what “Simon Says”. Once a child finishes a task they can ring the bell and keep track of their score with the moveable buttons.
