Since 2008 and before the Centreton Branch Library new addition was built, the Friends of the Centreton Library has held many events and raised funds toward its construction. Now completed, the new addition attached to the Centreton Town Hall by way of the historic Centreton bell in the new belltower, is a beacon for the future of the community. undraising to help pay off the remainder of the construction debt by holding its popular garage, flea market and yard sales, and the annual Christmas Arts & Crafts Show. The beautiful photo of the Centreton Branch Library new addition was taken by local resident Dave Roberts, a member of the Alnwick/Haldimand Library board.

Beginning this week our adults patrons can come into the branches to pick up their passport to reading! For each physical book, set in a different country, that you borrow and read from our library branches, you will receive a stamp on your passport! Collect all 7 stamps to be entered into an end-of-summer draw for a chance to win a gift card from The Lass & Ladle! Happy reading!
