14 combines came out to get the job done! Thanks to all the combines, trucks, fire department and water truck that were able to help us out today!

We will be combining the field Thursday, August 20 at 11am. The yield is significantly reduced, but we will salvage what we can. We are seeking combines to help us out for a couple of hours. Please reach out if you're available to bring a machine out.

We have received confirmation that our crop was completely destroyed. Unfortunately, we have to cancel this year's harvest celebration. We are planning for a celebration event in October/November to commemorate our 20th anniversary. Details will be posted as the plans come together.

Tough night. Unfortunately, like many others in the area, we got hit pretty hard with hail. The barley crop took quite a beating.
At this time, we're not sure how this affects our harvest & BBQ. Please keep an eye on our page for further updates.

A common question we often receive is; Why don't I get a tax receipt right after donating?
We are a local group representing the larger organization, Canadian Foodgrains Bank. We accept donations, temporarily hold them, and then send everything to the head office, where they issue official tax receipt documents. You may notice the tax receipts don't have our address or contact info on them, as that is completed in Winnipeg.
