My name is Jewel. Thank you for visiting and supporting my page!
As a mother of two, I have always been invested in child passenger safety. When I eventually found myself poring over others’ car seat struggles (that I may never have encountered in real life), I realized I should make good use of this obsession of mine.
Many years later, not knowing what took me so long, I finally obtained certification through the wonderful people at Safe Kids Worldwide.
I am now a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician.
What does that mean?
It means I have received proper training and am qualified to support caregivers in making sure their children are as safe as possible in vehicles.
I can perform seat checks, I can teach you how to correctly install and use their child’s car seat, I can give seat recommendations, I can answer your child passenger safety questions, and I can assist with any challenges you may be having with your child’s restraints.
It also means I will work hard at making important information available to the public, and making sure child passenger safety is celebrated and highly visible.
If I don’t know the answer to a question, I have some incredible resources at my fingertips and will find the answer for you!
With me, you will find judgement-free support from someone whose only goal is to have you walking away feeling empowered and armed with the knowledge to keep your child safe on the road (and in the sky)!
I will soon be providing a quick and easy form to fill out if you are wanting to have your seat checked by me. This will provide me with all of the necessary information for me to best assist you.
In the meantime, if you are wanting a seat check, or have any questions at all, please send me a message and I’ll get you set up! We can do this the old fashioned way until I get my form up and running.
