Happy Founder’s Day!

Members and leaders of Chatham Scout Troup # 11 were the guests of the Maroons on Thursday , November 20th. The scout group which for children ages 5-19 had a chance to tour the Maroons dressing and participated in the ceremonial puck drop.
The Troup takes part in a number of community activities such as Remembrance Day , Apple Days and Christmas parades. They also participate in the “Mark Warren Project”which is the making and painting of building blocks which are donated to the Chatham Goodfellows “No Child Without A Christmas” campaign.
Scouts also learn a number of different skills that they will carry throughout life.
Grayson Latford, Declan Tilker, Callahan Browning and Knox Goldsmith were the Scouts that dropped the ceremonial pucks.

On behalf of Scouters and the entire community of Chatham 11 Scouts we extend our heartfelt condolences to the families, friends, students, and staff of John Diefenbaker Seconday Schooll as they grieve the tragic loss of three young students and one critically injured due to a motor vehicle accident on Tuesday November 11 outside Hanover. ON.

Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected during this profoundly difficult time. We stand united in offering our deepest sympathies and steadfast support.
