Today, on National Indigenous Peoples Day, we honour the beauty, strength, and spirit of Indigenous communities.

The Silent Jingle is a tribute to Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and 2SLGBTQ+ people — created to hold space for their memory and presence.

In every quiet jingle, there is love, remembrance, and resilience.

The Silent Jingle
A Living Art Piece Honouring Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit People (MMIWG2S+)

The Silent Jingle is a powerful, living artwork created to honour and remember MMIWG2S+. This red velvet-like cape is covered in traditional red jingle cones — each engraved with the name of a loved one lost. As more names are added, the sound grows stronger, echoing the voices that must never be silenced.

Each jingle cone represents a life, a story, and a call for justice. Together, we ensure their names are known and never forgotten.

We are inviting families, friends, and communities to contribute. If you wish to honour someone, please send:

We are officially only one day away from The Silent Jingle Unveiling Event! The event will be live streamed tomorrow, May 24th, from 5:00-7:00pm ADT. The live stream of the event will be available for viewing tomorrow on both Instagram and Facebook on accounts.

We are beyond grateful for all the support we’ve received, and we want to thank everybody who has helped us in honouring MMIWG2S+. Tomorrow is an incredibly special day, and we hope you join us for The Silent Jingle Unveiling Event.
