North Shore Fire Dept The North Shore Fire Dept was founded in 1979. It currently serves 10 communities on the North Shore of PEI.

It currently serves the following communities for fire/medical & rescue coverage. Stanhope, Covehead, Pleasant Grove, Harrington, Dalvay, Grand Tracadie, Suffolk, Dunstaffnage, Frenchfort, Marshfield, York and Union Road.
