🏍️ PSA: Watch for Motorcycles — Every Time You Drive

As warmer weather brings more motorcycles onto our roads, we want to remind everyone to take an extra moment to look twice.

Motorcycles are smaller, harder to see, and can be easily hidden in blind spots, at intersections, or behind other vehicles. A quick second look before turning, changing lanes, or pulling out could save a life.

✅ Check your mirrors and blind spots
✅ Look twice at intersections
✅ Give motorcycles plenty of space
✅ Avoid distracted driving
✅ Share the road with care and respect

Every rider is someone’s family member, friend, neighbour, or co-worker. Let’s all do our part to make sure everyone gets home safely.

As we begin the search for a new President for Belfast Minor Hockey, we would like to take a moment to recognize and sincerely thank Ronnie McCabe for his many years of dedicated service and leadership.

Ronnie’s commitment to minor hockey has had a lasting impact on countless players, families, coaches, and volunteers throughout our community. His passion for the game, tireless work behind the scenes, and unwavering dedication to providing opportunities for local youth have helped build a strong and successful association that we are all proud to be a part of.

While we are saddened to see Ronnie step away from the role, we are incredibly grateful for everything he has done and the foundation he has helped create. We are fortunate to know that he will continue to support and mentor the next President, helping ensure a smooth transition and setting them up for success for years to come.

On behalf of our entire hockey community, thank you, Ronnie, for your leadership, dedication, and countless contributions. Your legacy will continue to be felt both on and off the ice for many years to come. 🏒❤️
