This facility is more than a retreat center. It is a place of healing, connection, and renewed purpose for veterans, first responders, and their families. Built through community support, the cabins and gathering spaces will continue to provide a safe environment where those who have spent their lives serving others can finally find rest, understanding, and support of their own.

The new kitchen and event spaces will help sustain the mission for generations to come by bringing people together through community events, weddings, banquets, and shared experiences. This is not just about building structures. It is about building hope, dignity, and a lasting legacy for those who served our communities and our country.

Every day, veterans and first responders across Canada face challenges that continue long after their service ends. Many are struggling with mental health, financial hardship, isolation, and the difficult transition back into civilian life. Canadian Veterans Services Society works to provide real support, connection, and hope to those who dedicated their lives to protecting others. But we cannot continue this mission alone. Clearwater retreat in collaboration with other communities, are dismantling mental health stigma, creating supportive environments. Together, we are stronger, breaking down walls that have long hidden mental health.
