๐ŸŒŸ VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT ๐ŸŒŸ

Weโ€™re proud to shine a light on another outstanding volunteer who helps make our program stronger every day.

This time, weโ€™re featuring Jason Dupuis!

Jason serves as a First Aid Officer/Instructor with the Navy League Cadets, bringing a calm, steady presence to everything he does. Outside of the program, heโ€™s a City of Ottawa firefighter, and that real-world experience shows in his leadership and dedication to safety.

Known for his love of tacos and his โ€œsuperpowerโ€ of calm control, Jason helps ensure our youth feel confident and supportedโ€”even when things get challenging. His ability to stay composed and guide others through high-pressure moments makes a lasting impact on both cadets and fellow staff.

Some heroes are fast, some are strongโ€”but the best stay calm and help others when it matters most. Jason is exactly that kind of leader.

Stay tuned as we continue highlighting the incredible people behind our program!

On Sunday, 30 Nov, cadets from NLCC Carleton Place #181 volunteered their time to assist at the Zion Memorial United Church Christmas Concert. Our cadets welcomed guests at the door, handed out programs, sorted and packed the generous food donations collected throughout the event.

It was a wonderful opportunity to give back to Zion Memorial United Church for the continued support they provide to our cadet program.

Bravo Zulu to our cadets! ๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŒŸ

๐ŸŽ„ Training Night Highlight โ€“ Tuesday, 25 November ๐ŸŽ„

Last week, our Navy League Cadets put heart and creativity into a special project: handmade Christmas cards for the troops.

These cards are now on their way to bring warmth, encouragement, and festive cheer to our Canadian Armed Forces personnel currently serving on Operation KOBOLD โ€“ Pristina, Kosovo.

We are incredibly proud of the care and gratitude our youth showed in supporting those who serve far from home.

Bravo Zulu, cadets! ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆโœจ
