Happy World Bicycle Day! 🚲🌍

At CAMBA, we believe bikes are about more than just getting from point A to point B. They’re a way to connect with nature, build community, support local businesses, and experience the landscapes we call home.

From first-time riders discovering a new trail to seasoned cyclists exploring deeper into the Rockies, every ride contributes to a stronger, more vibrant cycling community. Today, we’re celebrating everyone who rides, volunteers, advocates, and helps make mountain biking in the Bow Valley possible.

Thank you for being part of the CAMBA community. We’ll see you on the trails.

With all the rain and wet conditions around Canmore, it’s a great time for a quick trail etiquette reminder - because good trail etiquette keeps trails open, sustainable and fun for everyone 🌲🤝🚵

• Ride trails that can handle current conditions
• Ride through puddles, not around them, to prevent trail widening and unnecessary damage
• Respect trail closures and signage
• Slow down and be courteous around hikers and other trail users
• Support the local trail community that makes it all possible

The little choices we make on every ride add up. Great riders don’t just care about the ride - they care about the trails, the people who use them, and the future of our trail network too.

Thanks for doing your part to help keep Canmore’s trails in great shape for everyone. 🙌🌿

CAMBA exists because trails are more than recreation - they are essential infrastructure that connect people, place, and community.

This video shares who we are, the work happening on the ground, and the long-term vision guiding it. Through collaboration with land managers, partners, and volunteers, CAMBA is stewarding today’s trail network while helping bring the Canmore Area Trails Master Plan to life.

As demand for trails continues to grow in the Bow Valley, so does the need for thoughtful, sustainable development. CAMBA is building the capacity, partnerships, and resources required to ensure trails remain accessible, resilient, and community-driven for generations to come.

This is the story of how we’re building something bigger… together. Be a part of CAMBA’s story. Become a member. Link in bio/below.

Please note that the Top Gun biking trail will be closed this Saturday & Sunday, May 30-31 for the Big Bear Disc Golf Event 🥏🌲

Since the trail winds directly through the disc golf course and there will be 144 players on site each day, the closure is in place to help keep everyone safe and avoid potential conflicts or injuries.

The trail will reopen on Monday, June 1. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation! 🙌
