A huge thank you to Jen Klein of Fortitude First and Dr. Lydia for joining us at Island Ignite 2026 and sharing your knowledge, experience, and expertise with our camp participants.

Your presentation gave our participants an opportunity to learn about the importance of confidence, resilience, wellness, and taking care of themselves while pursuing careers in emergency services and beyond.

Island Ignite 2026 would not have been possible without the incredible support of Associated Fire Safety Group and Holmatro.

We are deeply grateful for their partnership in delivering our auto-extrication station, providing our participants with the opportunity to learn and practice these critical life-saving skills using industry-leading equipment. Experiences like these are only possible because of community partners who believe in investing in the next generation.

A special thank you to Shane O'Neill and Hannah Cater for generously sharing their time, expertise, and enthusiasm throughout the weekend. As we wrap up our Island Ignite 2026 participant spotlights, we wanted to take a moment to celebrate every young woman who joined us this year.

While many participants chose to be featured individually on our social media, not everyone requested a personal spotlight and we completely respect that. Every participant brought their own strengths, determination, and enthusiasm to camp, and each played an important role in making this year's program such a success.

We are also incredibly grateful to the fire departments, organizations, businesses, and scholarship partners whose support made it possible for these young women to experience three unforgettable days of learning, mentorship, and personal growth.
