Written by Rick Abbot
Directed by Dina Rehanek

SYNOPSIS✨️
A comedy about a community theatre group struggling to produce a murder mystery, "Murder Most Foul," despite a haughty playwright constantly changing the script.
The story follows the director, Gerry, who tries to stage a locally written murder mystery to save money, only to find out that the script is a disaster. The playwright, Phyllis Montague, continually rewrites scenes and the cast is getting increasingly frustrated. Set problems, deleted sound effects, missed cues, and last-minute script changes, lead to a chaotic, final performance.

*Louise (Technician)
Overworked, sad-faced sound, lighting, and scenic technician who deals with all the technical mishaps.

*Aggie (Stage Manager)
Does a bit of everything and scrambles to keep track of the ever-changing script.

Phyllis (Playwright)
A novice, inept, and haughty author (Murder Most Foul). frequently interrupts rehearsals to deliver "creative" rewrites, driving the cast crazy.

Henry (Lord Dudley)
The leading man; a seasoned actor, mid-50s who takes himself very seriously.

Polly (Lady Margaret)
The community theatre "diva" and Henry's wife. She is highly dramatic both on and off stage.

Saul (Dr. Rex Forbes)
The resident "villain" actor who cannot resist making wisecracks.

Billy (Stephen)
A spirited, handsome younger actor who serves as the play's future leading man.

Violet (Diana Lassiter)
Not-too-bright and quite naïve. Wants to do well.

A young and rather awkward actress.
