The Kilts For A Cause crew popped down to St. James Corner - Irish Pub for a cheeky pint and a sneak peek at the menu for Robbie Burns Night… and let us tell you, you are absolutely in for a treat. The food is unreal, the atmosphere is perfect (as always), and we left already counting down the days.

We’re beyond excited for this year’s event and trust us, you’ll want to arrive hungry!

Studying up for Robbie Burns Night? Don’t be like this guy… Stick to the poetry, not the plaid romance! 😂

But all jokes aside; what is exactly is a Burns Night and why do we celebrate?

It’s basically Scotland’s big party for its most famous poet, Robert Burns. 🥃

On January 23rd, we’ll eat haggis, drink whisky, and read poetry like true Scots… with live music from Jamie Allanach, bagpipes, kilts, and prizes.

But ours has a twist: proceeds will be going directly to the Calgary Food Bank.

On this magical evening, we’re giving St. James Corner - Irish Pub a full Scottish makeover — think of it as Calgary’s shortest cultural exchange program. We'll have live music, traditional fare, bagpipes and KILTS.

Join us as we honour the legendary Robbie Burns with live energy, traditional touches, and a room full of people who definitely don’t own enough tartan.

It’s all in support of the Calgary Food Bank, and every drink raised helps us raise funds for families who need it most.

Expect laughter, warmth and community spirit as we turn St. James Corner - Irish Pub into Scotland’s unofficial 12th parish for the night.
