🍁 November’s Collective Resources Are Here 🍂

This month we’re honoring Lung Cancer Awareness Month, National Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Month, National Diabetes Month, Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month, and Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Month. Each of these holds real impact in our communities, touching lives and stories that deserve care, dignity, and awareness.

November reminds us to hold space for both the visible and invisible challenges people face every day. Whether it’s chronic illness, memory loss, grief, or the fight to meet basic needs, this month we’re centering compassion, low-to-no cost access, and collective support.

This month’s resources are here to remind you of the care that exists:

💙 Tools for body awareness, nourishment, and rest

💛 Resources for caregivers, patients, and loved ones

🩵 Community education for prevention and connection

Together, we continue to care for ourselves, for each other, and for those still fighting.

Today we honor Indigenous Peoples’ Day by recognizing the original stewards of this land and the creative warriors reclaiming their relationship with the plant.

Indigenous leaders are restoring ancestral knowledge, rebuilding access, and reminding us that healing and sovereignty go hand in hand. Their art, advocacy, and cultivation keep culture alive — and community grounded.

Tag an Indigenous creator, brand, or healer leading in plant medicine so we can uplift and celebrate them today and every day.

In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, we’re shedding light on the visionaries shaping the future of cannabis. These leaders are breaking stigma, building compassionate spaces, and honoring culture through care, creativity, and community.

From cultivation to content, wellness to advocacy, Hispanic/Latine change makers continue to grow this movement with deep roots and bold voices. Tag a Hispanic/Latine creator, advocate, or brand we should know and help us show off the power of our collective in plant medicine.

In October with National Depression and Mental Health Screening Month, Bullying Prevention Month, Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and ADHD Awareness Month, these weeks can stir deep feelings and memories within our Jane community. We honor how tender these topics can be, and we want you to know you are not alone in carrying them.

This month’s resources are here to remind you of the care that exists: care for yourself, care for others, and care from our community. If you need support, reach out for more on our website for Jane’s Toolbox. If you have the capacity, extend a little extra gentleness to those around you.

Together, we hold the heavy by showing up for one another.

Humanitarian photography is more than art: it’s advocacy. This creative act shines a light on injustice, uplifts Janes’ voices, and pushes humanity to see what cannot be ignored. For us, the camera became a bridge: from silence to visibility, from grassroots to legislation, from pain to collective power.

Today is National Nonprofit Day, and we’re reminded why This is Jane Project exists: to illuminate complex paths toward trauma recovery by cultivating programs that explore these paths and building bridges to ensure Janes have affordable, reliable access to the tools necessary to forge them.

In a world that can feel out of control, togetherness becomes a form of power. When we come together, we practice listening, being seen, and remembering that healing nourishes within community.

Thank you for being part of this movement with us: your presence, voice, and compassionate care make the work we do possible.

CBD is a potential tool that may help the body find moments of safety again.

Research shows CBD may support the nervous system by easing anxiety, improving sleep, and reducing inflammation — all key factors in trauma recovery. For us, it’s not about numbing out. This is about creating enough calm to breathe, process, and heal.

If CBD has been part of your healing, your story matters. Share your experience in the comments so others can learn from experience.
