Come carve a pumpkin, make a mask, or create your own spooky masterpiece! 🎃

We’ll have a limited number of pumpkins and masks, along with basic tools and craft supplies, including glue guns. If you have a specific creation in mind, please bring your own supplies, too!

We’re looking for youth ages 12+ to help with setup, activities, snacks, decorations, and more.

Whether you can help for the whole event or just a little while, we’d love to have you! 🧡

· This exercise class, led by instructor Tanya, continues throughout October.
· Gentle fitness for seniors, including the use of chairs for the mobility-challenged
· Bring a water bottle, 9” exercise ball and a hand weight.

Give the good bugs a home this fall! 🐞 Not every leaf or stem needs to disappear. Ladybugs, lacewings, and other beneficial insects need a little shelter to survive the winter.

Leave some standing perennials, seed heads, and a few leaf piles in garden beds or corners. It’s habitat, not mess. Helping our six-legged allies means a healthier, more balanced garden in spring. 🌱✨

Customers travelling to the advance voting location at Spruce Meadows can take a special Calgary Transit shuttle from Somerset-Bridlewood Station during the five advance voting days.

The shuttle will operate between Somerset-Bridlewood Station and Spruce Meadows, providing a convenient connection for customers travelling to vote.

The shuttle will start operations at 9:00 a.m. at Somerset-Bridlewood Station, using the Route 75 stop in the station bus loop, and will run every 30 minutes during voting hours, with the final trip leaving the Spruce Meadows location at 8:10 p.m.

Please note:

Regular transit fares apply.
The shuttle operates during the five advance voting days only.
The shuttle will not operate on referendum day.
Shuttle schedules and boarding location information will be posted at Somerset-Bridlewood Station.

To vote in the Alberta Referendum, you must be:
• a Canadian Citizen,
• 18 years of age or older,
• an ordinary resident of Alberta.

Consider voting in an advance poll to avoid the long lines anticipated on Referendum Day - Oct 19.

On Election Day, you must vote at the voting place identified for your physical address.

Regarding Special (mail-in) Ballots:

Once your vote is processed, any other voting method will be rejected, as you will already be marked as having voted.
