I am sharing a very nice letter that our Brian Ludwig Foundation received this year from one of the many recipients of the bursaries and scholarships awarded each year at two different tertiary education institutions:
Dear Mount Royal University Donors,
I am writing to express my deepest gratitude for your generosity in funding the Brian Ludwig Memorial Bursary in Business Administration. This award has had a meaningful impact on my academic journey, and I am truly honored to be a recipient.
I am currently a fourth year Business Administration student majoring in Accounting at Mount Royal University. Choosing MRU was an easy decision for me because of its smaller class sizes, which provide a more personal and supportive learning environment. The opportunity to build meaningful connections with my professors and peers has truly enriched my academic experience.
In addition to my studies, I enjoy spending my free time cooking and trying new recipes. Beyond my personal interests, I am also passionate about giving back to the community. I volunteer with various organizations, where I have been fortunate to contribute to meaningful causes while learning valuable lessons in teamwork and compassion.
This bursary has significantly eased the financial burden of my education, allowing me to focus on my coursework, personal growth, and volunteer work without the constant worry of financial strain. Your kindness and support serve as a great source of motivation, reinforcing my determination to work hard, pursue my goals, and give back to the community in the future.
