But here’s the thing — this amazing day doesn’t happen without our incredible volunteers. ❤️

ADR Wienerama is 100% volunteer run, and every person who helps makes a difference. From setting up, helping with games, greeting guests, selling merch, keeping the wiener races running smoothly, or just being an extra pair of hands — you help us continue making dreams come true for dachshunds in need. 🌭✨

Each racer will need:

• A releaser — the one who says “GOOOO!”

• A catcher — the one they actually run to (probably for snacks 😅)

Hercules and Sandy are officially ready for their forever home together

These bonded little chiwe**ies have come SO far in foster care and are now accepting applications for full-time blanket supervisors and professional snack distributors.

Hercules - Born: January 19, 2020

Sandy - Born: November 23, 2019

Sandy is a brave little soul and happy as can be. She’ll confidently make her way into your arms and immediately demand chest rubs like she pays the mortgage.

Hercules takes a little longer to warm up — especially around men — but once you’re accepted into his inner circle, personal space becomes a thing of the past. He is Velcro. He is shadow. He is tiny emotional support we**ie.

These two fully embrace the dachshund lifestyle and can usually be found buried in blankets, laundry piles, or any soft item left unattended for more than 3 seconds. At bedtime, they’re happiest either cuddled up beside you or tucked into their kennel together like the little hot dogs they are.

They’re doing amazing with cats and have shown absolutely zero interest in chasing baby chicks. Their recall is fantastic, especially when you yell “my we**ies!” across the yard 😂

Herc and Sandy would do best in a home without large dogs, as big dogs make them feel personally victimized just by existing nearby.

They’re doing very well with outside potty training and also appear to be paper trained. They don’t yet ask to go outside, so if left unsupervised they may choose a “surprise location” indoors instead.

Currently fostered in Pickardville (NW of Edmonton), but honestly these two would move just about anywhere for the right forever family.

If you’re looking for two sweet, bonded little love bugs with huge personalities, excellent cuddling skills, and strong opinions about blankets, Hercules and Sandy may be your perfect match.

ANA & THEO: THE NEXT CHAPTER!

It’s time! Our sweet Ana and her grumpy old soul partner, Theo, are officially ready to find their forever home! These two are fully vetted and looking for a quiet spot to call their own.

Meet Ana (11 yrs): The definition of "sweetest little lady." She is looking for a sunny spot to rule over, a soft bed, and a human who can be easily convinced to share snacks. She is pure love!

Meet Theo (7 yrs): A "grumpy old soul" with a heart of gold… once he trusts you! Theo is a work in progress who is learning his manners. He is not a fan of strangers and needs an experienced home with very few visitors to keep his world calm and comfortable.

What they need:
✅ A patient, experienced owner familiar with shy/reactive dogs.
✅ A quiet home environment (no small kids/frequent visitors).
✅ They must be adopted together—they are the perfect match!
