Coins For Classrooms Delivering Educational Choices One Pencil at a Time. A Canadian penny (one cent) will not buy anything in Canada.

After seeing someone actually take their pennies from their change and throw them in the garbage, we realized that by collecting these unwanted coins we could buy, ship and supervise the delivery of school supplies to parts of the world that are desperate for them. Our travel costs and personal expenses remain self-funded.
