A Journey from Vision to Impact
Event Highlights — September 20, 2026
Our Calgary community came together for a truly inspiring evening celebrating education, impact, and collective generosity.
The program opened with a beautiful recitation of Quranic verses by Yousuf Khokhar, setting a heartfelt and reflective tone for the evening.
Umamah Wasti followed with her moving volunteering journey, reminding us how personal commitment can fuel meaningful change.
Selin Jessani, CEO of The Citizens Foundation - TCF Canada, shared the remarkable impact Canadians continue to make in underserved communities across Pakistan.
We were honoured to welcome Ateed Riaz, The Citizens Foundation Co-Founder, to Calgary for the very first time. His powerful stories of resilience, hope, and transformation left the audience deeply moved.
The evening concluded with an engaging Q&A session hosted by Mekal Umair, bringing thoughtful dialogue and meaningful reflection to the room.
