This morning we gathered for the commissioning of the Remembrance Crosswalk on Veterans Way (50 Avenue), outside Memorial Park.

Thank you to the Town of Stettler, and to the Town crew who painted it on their own initiative. Thank you as well to everyone who came out to stand with our members at the crosswalk.

Every time someone crosses Veterans Way now, they walk past a reminder of those who served.

Lest We Forget.

Thank you to the Town of Stettler. Town staff took it upon themselves to paint a Remembrance Crosswalk on Veterans Way (50 Avenue), outside the Memorial Park grounds. The Branch is truly grateful for the thought behind it, and for the care and effort that went into a memorial piece like this.

The Mayor and Royal Canadian Legion Branch 59 will dedicate the crosswalk on Monday afternoon, September 28. We will let you know the time of the dedication as soon as we have it.
