We're a group of passionate student volunteers who hope to bring a positive change in education, health, and safety in developing countries around the world through our exam review sessions and other fundraisers! With the donation collected from each group review session, we are able to raise funds to support our educational building projects! With over 100 million children worldwide without access to the education needed to break the cycle of poverty, our efforts are focused around providing sustainable educational support to communities in developing nations, helping children have the opportunity to gain a quality education.
>>>>WE BUILD THE SCHOOLS OURSELVES
All of our projects are not only funded by our Exam-AID group review sessions, but also built by SOS volunteers on annual volunteer outreach trips. Students travel to a community in Latin America, at their own expense, to spend two weeks building their project, seeing first hand the impact of their time and effort on the lives of others. Countries that SOS has helped with include Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Belize, Peru and El Salvador. All students of the UofC are invited to come on our volunteer trip! BUT SPACE IS LIMITED!!
