🥎 2027 WILD Division 1 (U13–HS) — Important Information
We strongly encourage all players and parents interested in Division 1 (U13–HS) to attend our upcoming Information Session on Tuesday, September 8 from 7:00–8:30 PM.
The session will provide an overview of what the 2027 Division 1 program will look like and give players and families the opportunity to ask our team questions directly.
👉 Considering Division 1 for your player? This is a great opportunity to make sure you have all the information you need before registration closes on September 9, 2026.

📅 Evaluation Dates
• September 19 & 20
• September 26 & 27
Evaluation block times will be released approximately two weeks before evaluations, allowing families time to coordinate with other sports and commitments.
⚾ Open Sessions
If your player is unable to attend any of the available evaluation blocks, please contact us before registering for an Open Session.
Open Sessions are intended for players who genuinely cannot attend any of the scheduled blocks and require prior approval.
We encourage athletes to register early to secure their spot.
Athletes who wish to be considered for the Division 1 team but are away at university or have other commitments during this time must complete an Expression of Interest Form found on our website.

🥎 2027 DIVISION 1 WILD EVALUATIONS — REGISTRATION NOW OPEN!

Our 2027 Division 1 WILD Evaluation dates are here! If your athlete is interested in playing Division 1 WILD softball for the 2027 season, now is the time to get registered. These evaluations are for athletes interested in our U13, U15 and High School (U17/U19) Division 1 WILD teams.
📍 Location: Glamorgan Ball Diamonds – 46th Ave. SW, Calgary
📅 EVALUATION DATES
Saturday, September 19
Sunday, September 20
Saturday, September 26
Sunday, September 27

🚨 REGISTRATION DEADLINE: SEPTEMBER 9
All athletes interested in attending evaluations must complete their registration by Wednesday, September 9

🥎 EVALUATION FORMAT
Each evaluation session will be divided into blocks of time, generally 90–120 minutes.
Players are required to:
• Register for one session on Saturday AND one session on Sunday
• Attend both of their assigned sessions
• Arrive prepared and ready to participate for the full evaluation
Pitchers & catchers: Additional evaluation opportunities will be provided, and these athletes will be required to attend an additional evaluation session.
⏰ Specific evaluation block times will be released approximately two weeks prior to evaluations, allowing families time to coordinate with other sports, school, and other commitments.
Please note that the final schedule is subject to change depending on the number of players registered.

We understand that not every athlete will be able to attend the scheduled evaluation dates.
If your athlete is unable to attend the evaluations, please complete our Expression of Interest Form so our evaluation team is aware of their interest in the program.

👀 WHAT TO EXPECT
Players will be assessed throughout the evaluation process by our evaluation team, with coaches also monitoring the sessions.
Our goal is to provide a fair and thorough evaluation of each athlete while considering individual skills, development, athleticism and overall fit for our Division 1 program.

🏆 2027 WILD TEAMS
We anticipate forming:
🥎 1 U13 Division 1 team
🥎 1 U15 Division 1 team
🥎 2 High School Division 1 teams (U17/U19)
Team selections are expected to be communicated approximately 7–10 days following evaluations.

🥎 2027 WILD ID CAMP & EVALUATIONS 🥎

The road to the 2027 season starts this September!

After listening to feedback from our membership and aligning with other Calgary Minor Softball associations, West Hill Softball is moving our Division 1 WILD ID Camps & Evaluations to September 2026.

These evaluation weekends are the only opportunities for U13–U19 athletes to be evaluated for the 2027 WILD program.

📅 September 2026
🥎 U13 | U15 | U17/U19

Athletes selected to a Draft WILD Roster will have the opportunity to train together from October–December, with a focus on skill development and preparation for the 2027 season.

Registration opens August 1! We encourage athletes to register early to secure their evaluation spot.

Unable to attend because you’ll be away at university? An Expression of Interest Form will be available for athletes who wish to be considered for the 2027 WILD program.

Interested in coaching? Head Coach and Assistant Coach applications will also be available.

We’re looking forward to seeing athletes on the field this September. Best of luck to everyone throughout the evaluation process!
