On October 5, Immigrant Services Calgary hosted a WelcomeWell: Golden Care Health information session in collaboration with London Drugs, bringing newcomer seniors together to learn about important health supports.
Participants learned about:
💉 The importance of vaccination, adult booster shots, flu clinics, and options available
🏥 Medication reviews and safe medication management
❤️ Wellness tips and pharmacy services
Thank you to everyone who joined us and to London Drugs for helping us provide newcomer seniors with practical health information as they navigate the flu season.

What a wonderful way to celebrate National Seniors Day! 🎉
On October 1, Immigrant Services Calgary (ISC) had the pleasure of coming together with the Calgary Chinese Elderly Citizens Association (CCECA) to honour National Seniors Day and welcome more than 200 seniors for an afternoon filled with joy, connection, and community spirit.

The event was truly special, with our talented seniors taking centre stage through beautiful dance performances, singing, and an entertaining magic show. Their energy, talent, enthusiasm, and zest for life were absolutely inspiring!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated, performed, volunteered, and helped make the day so memorable. Events like these remind us of the incredible contributions seniors make to our communities and the importance of creating spaces where they can connect, share, and shine.
