It’s International Women In Engineering Day! Today we commit to ensuring that all minds have access to pursuing their passions, regardless of gender, race, finances etc. For centuries, women in engineering have been overshadowed and reduced in their achievements. Addressing these issues is crucial not only in diversifying scientific progress but additionally in improving society at large.

Hello!
Education Collective YYC is a student-led and community-based non-profit organization established in 2023. For free, our organization provides a dynamic and peer-based learning environment for students of various ages (5-13) and academic abilities. We accomplish this by inviting students from all over Calgary to our biweekly study sessions, usually held at a local community center or library. We have dedicated grade eleven and twelve students who devote two hours per session to helping students with any questions or assistance they may require within their abilities.
We plan to have the option to book online sessions in the future. This would require volunteers to use the Zoom application. This allows us to connect all across Canada. As of August 2023, we are still accepting student and volunteer applications. In-person classes are set to be done at Sage Hill Library and Country Hills Library which are both located in Calgary, Alberta.
