These young innovators identified real-world problems, developed practical solutions, and demonstrated the kind of thinking that will shape Africa’s future.

As members of the Academy, selected teams will receive:

💰 ₦200,000 Prototype Development Grant
🤝 Mentorship from experienced entrepreneurs and innovators

After reviewing submissions from across Rivers State, we are excited to announce that the Top 25 Teams have been selected for the STEMite-NAFESS 2026 Problem Lab Challenge.

Congratulations to every student who participated. The creativity, passion, and commitment to solving real-world problems were truly inspiring.

🚀 To our Top 25 Teams: Welcome to the STEMite Entrepreneurship Academy!

As Academy members, you will receive:

The STEMite-NAFESS 2026 Innovation Challenge is officially LIVE.

This competition is open to ALL secondary school students across Nigeria 🇳🇬

This year’s theme:

BUILD THE NEXT GENERATION THAT SOLVES WHAT MATTERS

We are looking for students solving REAL problems with bold ideas, research, creativity, and innovation.

Only 15 teams will be selected nationwide for the national stage happening in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

From those finalists, the TOP 3 teams will represent Nigeria at international science and engineering competitions 🌍

Important Dates:
📅 Submission Deadline — September 23, 2026
📣 Finalists Announced — October 15, 2026
🏆 National Fair — November 26, 2026

From solving real problems… to the global stage.

Our Top 3 winners from STEMite-NAFESS 2025 are heading to the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF), the largest high school science and engineering fair in the world.

While travel restrictions mean they will be participating virtually this year, the opportunity remains just as powerful and we’re making sure they are fully supported.

We are covering participation fees and working closely with the students and their teachers to ensure they are ready to represent.

Meet the students representing Nigeria:

Through STEMite-NAFESS 2025 and Art of Impact, we’ve raised $7,000 toward our $14,000 goal to support Nigerian students and educators on the journey to ISEF 2026.

This support covers travel, visas, accommodation, logistics, and participation ensuring that talent isn’t limited by access.

We’re halfway there. Help us close the gap.

This journey didn’t start in Lagos.

It started with a teacher who believed deeply enough in their students to travel several days by road from Adamawa State, carrying not just bags, but belief.

Access often reaches students because teachers go first.
This is what commitment to education looks like.
